Newport have announced the signings of midfielder Jake Thompson and striker Jefferson Louis. Thompson, 23, spent last season with Forest Green, while Louis, 33, previously played for manager Justin Edinburgh at Rushden. Mansfield have signed Kidderminster striker Nick Wright. The 17 goal former Tamworth man, 24, is the second Harrier to move to Field Mill in a week.
Darlington will have their appeal to the FA against their league placing heard on June 21st. Mansfield have accepted a bid from Burnley for defender Luke O'Neill. Forest Green have agreed contract extensions with forward Yan Klukowski and midfielder Kieron Forbes. 18 goal Klukowski has signed to the summer of 2014, while England 'C' cap Forbes signing to the summer of 2015.
Macclesfield say that, despite reports to the contrary, chairman Mike Rance is staying with the club. Rance was reported to have quit the club along with several other directors, but a statement says he will remain as Chairman while handed day-to-day control of the club to Chief Executive Jon Harris.
