Former Bulls winger Lionel Ainsworth is set to leave Shrewsbury. The former Derby trainee took to Twitter to thank Shrews fans for the last two years. Ainsworth, 24, made only one sub appearance for the Shrews in the last four months. Northwich Victoria have announced a groundshare with Stafford Rangers, 40 miles away from the town. Welsh side Airbus UK, where former Vics manager Andy Preece is now, have also offered them a spot with fans protesting at the Stafford move.

Former Bulls winger Marc Pugh is mulling over his options after being offered a new three year deal by Bournemouth. The 25 year old has one year left on his current deal and is reported to be the subject of a £1.5million offer from Derby. The Bulls still hold a 10% sell-on clause for the former Shrewsbury man, who has already earned the Bulls £100,000 from his transfer two years ago.

Dagenham keeper Chris Lewington and Bristol Rovers pair Mustafa Carayol and Danny Woodards are reported to all be targets for Middlesboro after manager Tony Mowbray watched the two sides in action at the weekend. Telford manager Andy Sinton has acknowledged rumours surrounding him being in the frame for the Burton job, but that he is committed to the Bucks. 


Port Vale have released keeper Chris Martin, defender Phil Roe, and midfielder Paul Marshall. Martin and Roe both came through the youth side with Martin playing over 70 times, while ex-Man City youngster Marshall joined the club on non-contract terms in February. Former Bulls trialist Ryan Burge has been transfer listed after missing most of the season through injury, but 16 others have been offered new terms including ex-Bull John McCombe.

Former Bull Gavin Williams has signed a new one year deal with Yeovil. Now 31, the Merthyr-born Bulls youth team graduate scored four times in 30 games for the Glovers during the current season. Ex-Bull Wayne Brown is one of three players being offered a new contract by Oxford. Mark Wilson, Oli Johnson, Aaron Woodley, Paul McClaren and Anthony Tonkin have all been released, with none of the five being regular first teamers during the second half of the season.

Welsh League and Cup winners The New Saints say they intend to enter both the English FA Cup and FA Trophy next season. The Oswestry based side have been told by the Welsh FA that if that happens then they will not be allowed to postpone league matches to fit in their English games. Wimbledon have released a total of 13 players following their debut League season. Among them is keeper Jack Turner, who was in goal as they lost 4-0 to Barnet.
