Midfielder James McQuilkin has returned to Edgar Street following the expiry of his month long loan at Kidderminster.
He told his Twitter followers yesterday: 'Enjoyed the last month at kiddy, all the best to everyone involved at the club and thanks for everything'
McQuilkin made one start and four sub appearances during his month at Aggborough, and also scored their equaliser against York with a well placed free kick.
Kiddy boss Steve Burr had expressed an interest in extending the loan further but, with Harry Pell's injury and a return to a more passing style of football, the door may have re-opened for the former West Brom youngster at Edgar Street. Burr told Kidderminster's official site:
"It would have been nice to have kept James but with us bringing a couple in during the transfer window we have decided to let him go back. You can see that he is a quality footballer but, as is the case with loan players, he arrived having not played a lot of games.
"So it has been a bit stop-start for him with games being called off, but he goes back having contributed whilst here and we'll certainly be keeping an eye on things."
