Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth was delighted with his side's win over Hereford United last night.
"It was all about our team instead of worrying about other people," he told the Aldershot OS.
The players showed their focus and I am delighted with a lot of aspects tonight.
"It was never going to be a classic after watching Hereford at the weekend and knowing the system they were going to play but we knew there would be a moment in the game where we would get a chance if we did it right.
"I am delighted with a 1-0, a clean sheet and Guy Madjo scored the winner. I brought him here to score tap ins because we have been missing that. I said at half time that if we can get into one more gear we would score and we did.
"We know we can get better and we will still push for that but we looked solid and looked like a side that had a lot of desire to win the game 1-0 and anything more would have been a bonus. There is more to come too."
