Hereford United striker Delroy Facey, pictured with today's mascot, was pleased that his side drew 1-1 with Cheltenham Town this afternoon.
"We're pleased with a point as I don't think many people expected us to get anything today," Facey told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Our recent home form hasn't been the best and to get a point against top of the league is a step in the right direction for us.
Facey scored Hereford's goal.
"As a striker it's always nice to get on the score-sheet, nice to get the opening goal.
"It was good to get a point as it ends the disasterous home form that we've had.
"The quicker we get away from the bottom half of the table the better it will be for us."
Next for Hereford is a trip to Aldershot on Tuesday evening.
"We haven't done too bad on the road.
"It would be no surprise to anybody if we come away with three points."
