Shrewsbury Town will be without Shane Cansdell-Sherriff for the game against Hereford United at Edgar Street next Saturday.
The player was injured after a collision with Southend's Liam Dickinson at the Greenhous Meadow this afternoon. Reports say he was unconscious for a few minutes.
He was taken to hospital where he was assessed but later released. It's thought he will be out for several weeks with a shoulder problem.
Also expected to be missing for Shrewsbury next Saturday will be striker Marvin Morgan.
He received a red card in the 28th minute after lunging at Southend midfielder Jean-Paul Kalala.
