Aldershot have boosted their survival chances after signing striker Guy Madjo for an undisclosed five-figure fee from Stevenage.
The Cameroonian forward recently ended a loan spell at Port Vale, with the Shots keen to sign him after allowing winger Jermaine McGlashan to join Cheltenham for a fee.
Madjo impressed Shots boss Dean Holdsworth after netting three times against them for the Valiants just before Christmas.
Meanwhile Darlington have been blocked from signing three outfield players but have been allowed to sign goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who is an England u19 international. Their threadbare squad has also been boosted by the return of defender Aaron Brown. The 31 year old quit the club on Wednesday in tears, but returned this morning citing 'unfinished business'.
