Luton Town have not paid a transfer fee for former Hereford United defender Janos Kovacs whose transfer has been officially confirmed this morning.
However the Bulls will benefit from Kovacs not being on the wage bill at Edgar Street.
When Kovacs first went on loan to Luton, the Conference club paid around £800 per week of his wages. Later, after the transfer deal was agreed, Luton paid around £1,000 per week, leaving about £500 to be carried by Hereford.
Kovacs scored for Luton yesterday in their 5-0 win over Kettering.
