News Round-Up

Darlington's Administrator says that despite more than a dozen expressions of interest in the club, with most of them from genuine people, not one of those to come forward has made further enquiries into the club. He has told the local BBC radio that the club could fold by the weekend if no serious interest is forthcoming, while also adding that Fulham were yet to pay an overdue installment due for the transfer of keeper David Stockdale.

Wimbledon have signed veteran striker Jason Euell on loan for an initial month. The Charlton forward, 34, has been used largely as a sub by the Addicks since returning to the club in the summer. The Wombles have also signed Stevenage forward Byron Harrison for what is reported to be a club record five-figure fee. The 24 year old handed in a transfer request after struggling to get games for Graham Westley's side.

Bradford have confirmed the signing of full back Rob Kozluk on a deal until the end of the season. The 34 year old played seven times for Port Vale earlier in the season. Aldershot have loaned striker Bradley Bubb to Conf South side Eastleigh until the end of the season. The 24 started only one game after joining the Shots in the summer from Farnborough.

Bristol Rovers have drawn up a new shortlist for manager after apparently being snubbed by both of their first choice candidates over the past few days. Sean O'Driscoll and Richard Money are both reported to have rejected the post with Paul Ince and Keith Curle, who lost his job at QPR alongside Neil Warnock at the weekend, amongst the names. Swindon are in negotiations to release defender Alberto Comazzi from his deal. The Italian was one of Paolo Di Canio's first signings, but he has struggled in the English game.

Barnet defender Danny Senda may miss the rest of the season after dislocating a kneecap in last night's JPT draw with Swindon. The 30 year old, whose career has been blighted by injury, was stretchered off in the first half of the game and the club will now be seeking the services of a left back as cover. Shrewsbury have lost the services of a second loanee to a higher graded side after defender James Hurst turned down a longer stay to join Chesterfield instead.
