Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman has confirmed earlier reports that he could be without two of his defenders, Stefan Stam and Andy Todd, for the game against Crawley on Saturday.
"Stefan has unfortunately damaged his cartlidge in his knee," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"He's having an operation today so he is going to be at least four to six weeks with that. That's unfortunate.
"Toddy is 50/50 with his groin."
Meanwhile Steve Evans, the Crawley manager, spoken about the Bulls.
"Hereford will be a tough game. They've got good players and on their day they can beat the best."
