The University's status means it cannot bid for the club. Plymouth have announced that, just days after agreeing a contract, striker Liam Dickinson has left the club by mutual consent for 'personal reasons'. Morecambe midfielder Paul Scott is to undergo knee surgery today in a bid to cure the problem that has dogged him since his move from Bury last summer. He made only ten appearances before the injury last September, and may not play again until 2012.
