Bradford say they have no case to answer after Falkirk claimed compensation for striker Mark Stewart. The 23 year old was out of contract and the Bantams are sure he is available for free at that age on a cross-border deal. The Bantams have also signed released Sheff Weds teenager Patrick Lacey. The 18 year old is the latest addition to their new 'development' squad.
Plymouth have released season ticket prices for the coming season, dropping their Adult ticket price to £340, with matchday prices set to be £21. The Pilgrims have failed in a bid to sign Robbie Fowler, with the veteran striker preferring to play in Thailand. Barnet are trialling released MK Dons keeper Stuart Searle and Harrow full back Ryan Watts. Searle, 32, had a two year spell at Chelsea coaching the reserve keepers while Watts, 23, was previously a trainee at Brentford.

Assistant boss Jimmy Bell has told McConville a move to the Hatters would be 'a terrible career move', while Halifax have rejected a claimed £50,000 offer for striker Jamie Vardy saying it will take a much bigger side that the Hatters to turn the player's head.

One person unlikely to be involved is former bidder Stephanie Booth, after her hotel chain went into Administration after winding up proceedings brought by the taxman. Burton boss Paul Peschisolido says he may have to spend money to bring in a striker after missing out on a string of free-transfers who have gone for higher wages elsewhere.
Dover chairman Jim Parmeter says striker Adam Birchall will be sold to Gillingham 'over my dead body'. Newport have confirmed making three offers for the striker, who had a transfer request refused earlier in the week, which Parmeter called 'an insult'. Torquay are trialling striker Taiwo Atieno. The 25 year old has had 12 clubs in seven years, leaving Stevenage in May after just three months.
