Former Bristol Rovers defender Craig Hinton is reported to be one of three names interviewed this week to become the new Bulls coach.
The 33 year old ended last season as assistant manager at the Memorial Ground after leaving a playing role at Northampton in March, but he is surplus to requirements with the Pirates after Paul Buckle's appointment. The versatile defender has racked up over 400 games across the Conference and Leagues One and Two and may well be in line for a backup playing job as well.
Meanwhile Harry Pell is being linked with a move to join up with Lennie Lawrence at Crystal Palace according to the press.
The Bristol Evening Post reports that the former Bulls loanee, who was named the Pirates' Young Player of the Year last season, is wanted by Lawrence. Pell started his career at Charlton, where Lawrence originally made his name, and is said by Rovers fans to have joined their club for the veteran boss.
