Bradford have failed in a bid for veteran Rochdale captain Gary Jones. The 34 year old was offered a two year deal by the Bantams, but their move failed after Rochdale matched it. Rotherham midfielder Nicky Law is reported to be on the verge of a move to Motherwell in the SPL. The move would mean the out of contract 23 year old would leave on a free. The Millers have accepted one offer for the player from Crawley, while Scunthorpe have cancelled their interest due to personal terms.
Accrington winger Jimmy Ryan is set for a move to Scunthorpe after talks this week. Ryan, 22, is out of contract with Stanley and would require a fee to be agreed.
