Adam Bartlett has spoken to BBC Hereford & Worcester about Dave Kevan.
The stopper says Kevan deserves his new job with Stoke City, but he will miss him:
"Dave was a fantastic coach and a fantastic guy who was always full of smiles and he was always bubbly every day. That rubs off on people as sometimes you could come in and think 'I don't feel great today' and then you would see Dave with that big smile on his face.
"We wish him all the best as Dave deserves to be in and around a Premier League club and he will be fantastic for Stoke City."
Bartlett also spoke about last season's poor start:
"Too much emphasis was put on the Crewe game and we went into that like it was an FA Cup final. We won the game and it was as if we felt we had achieved something but there were still 45 games to go."
"From the Crewe game it obviously went drastically down hill for the next 10-12 games. Jamie took over and he did ever so well so I am looking forward to what his ideas are throughout pre-season.
"We are looking forward to giving it a much better go this year."
