The taxman faces both Plymouth and the Football League in the High Court today in a bid to get the preferential status for footballing creditors thrown out. Should the taxman win, football clubs would no longer be able to rely on each other to pay their debts. Port Vale's board have called the EGM demanded by shareholders for June 1st, on a Wednesday morning. Shareholders will be able to vote on a call to oust the current board, and removal of the 24.9% shareholding rule that limits any one person's power.
