Bury manager, Alan Knill, heaped praise on Ryan Lowe for scoring nine goals in nine games, the most recent being at Edgar Street this afternoon.
"23 goals this season. He's a top player," Knill told BBC Manchester.
"When somebody enjoys playing in a team their form rises. Every time he's in front of goal you think he's going to score."
As regards the game Knill felt it was a great start for his side.
"1-0 away from home, then the home team has to come out. Our goalkeeper has made some good saves for us.
"I thought we dominated the second half. I expected them to come out more
"I thought we controlled it. I was delighted with the players. 3-0 that's nine goals in a week. A good away performance.
"Fortunately for us we have some players who can put it in the back of the net."
