A goal deep into injury time cost the Bulls a vital win at Vale Park.
Port Vale striker Tom Pope came off the bench to level the game at 1-1 in the third minute of injury time after James McQuilkin struck another goal out of nothing. By the time Pope scored the home crowd had reduced dramatically after voicing their displeasure at the lack of a hammering of the lowly Bulls, but the 126 Bulls fans stood firm and cheered their side - and an unusual 4-5-1 formation - all the way.
