Kidderminster Fotball Club has ben put up for sale by chairman Barry Norgrove.
Since being relegated back to the Conference in 2005, they haven't been able to compete with some of the top clubs because of lower gates.
Norgrove says he can't put any more money into the club.
"I feel I am holding the club back," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We need fresh investment to get to the higher end of the table and I do not have the finances to do that.
"There are people out there looking for football clubs - I know that for a fact."
Last night they attracted less than 1,000 for their home win over Gateshead after averaging 1,548 last term.
