Two former Bulls, now in management, had various levels of success last Saturday in the FA Cup.
Scott Voice (pictured whilst at Edgar Street) is assistant manager at Tipton Town, who are currently top of the Midland Alliance. They have an FA Cup replay on Wednesday evening after their 3-3 draw at Radcliffe Olympic. Should they win they will travel to either Sheffield or Frickley Athletic in the next round.
Voice was signed by Graham Turner in June 2001 from Bilston on a two year deal. However despite a prolific scoring record before his move, he failed to repeat the same sort of form whilst with the Bulls.
After just 15 appearances, and injury problems, he went out on loan to Hinckley United and moved to them in January 2003.
Matt Gardiner, manager at Conference North Redditch went one better in the Cup. His side won their tie against Hinckley United with the only goal of the game.
Gardiner (photo copyright Nigel Hill) was signed by Graham Turner in summer 2000 as a part-timer. He made 16 appearances for the Buls before being released at the end of the season. However in late September 2001 he rejoined Hereford for a short spell on a non-contract basis before moving to Hednesford Town.
Redditch, who are currently 20th in their league, will travel to Guiseley AFC in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.
The winners will receive £12,500.
Hereford United enter the competition on November 6th.
