The Bulls travel to the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday to face Burton Albion in a League Two match.
The Bulls are out for revenge after losing twice to the Brewers last season. The two high-scoring affairs brought twelve goals in total, but only five of them were for the Bulls. At the Pirelli Stadium the Bulls lost 3-2 with Leon Constantine scoring twice, while at Edgar Street the midfield trio of Marc Pugh, Kenny Lunt, and James McQuilkin scored but a late Tony James goal scuppered all their efforts to leave the Bulls still looking for their first Football League point against Paul Peschisolido's men.
The Brewers couldn't stop scoring last season, or indeed conceding, but this term so far they can barely start. Two goalless draws started their season, and defender Aaron Webster has outgunned last season's unstoppable pair of Shaun Harrad and Greg Pearson this season. Ex-Bull Tony James has been joined at the Pirelli by former Bulls loanee Lewis Young, who has started the last two games after debuting from the bench, and injured defender Richard Jackson.
The Bulls travel with two new faces in their squad and a desperate need to score a goal. With the left-sided player, Dominik Werling, finally arriving to complement the right-sided Joe Colbeck some do wonder whether the 4-3-3 will be abandoned for a more conventional 4-4-2 but Simon Davey appears to be a man to stick to a plan. Parallels have already been drawn between striker Amadou Rabihou and our last Cameroonian striker, Guy Ipoua. Rabihou, like Ipoua, has had a bit of a nomadic career after starting out with a European giant. If he goes out on the sauce after scoring in his first three games, like Ipoua, we probably won't argue.
