News Round Up

Attendances seem to be falling everywhere, with Walsall's local press confirming their Johnstones Paint Trophy game on Tuesday night attracted the lowest gate in the 20 year history of their Bescot stadium. Millwall's local press say they rejected an offer to take Theo Robinson on loan from Huddersfield. They had previously make a move for the former Bulls loanee in January.

Northampton striker Tadgh Purcell will miss the rest of the season after rupturing knee ligaments, while midfielder Ryan Gilligan will miss three months due to needing ankle surgery. Boss Ian Sampson says he has the funds available to bring in two strikers, and may make a move before the weekend. Bury are trialling Darlington striker Curtis Main. The 18 year old was the club's youngest ever player when he debuted as a 15 year old but he is not in Mark Cooper's plans.

Cheltenham have extended the loan of Coventry youngster Shaun Jeffers until January. The 18 year old has mainly been used as a sub so far.
