Crewe have announced that shirt sponsors Mornflake Oats have extended their sponsorship deal to the end of the current season. They have been sponsors for the last five years but talks on extending the deal stalled. Port Vale chairman Bill Bratt is to step down from his chief executive role at the club and hand the day-to-day running to someone else. He will remain as chairman until at least the end of the season.

Accrington fan Jason Graham, one of the founders of their flag-making Ultras group, is facing a three year banning order after being arrested at their Carling Cup match with Newcastle.The club themselves are backing Graham, while the Football Supporters Federation have provided him with the services of a solicitor.
