Colchester United manager John Ward has given his reaction to their 3-0 win over the Bulls at Edgar Street this evening.
"It was good defensively, because Hereford were big opponents," said Ward.
"It was a physical contest for us and after a late goal on Saturday, it was nice to keep a clean sheet.
"We pass the ball like that on a daily basis (in training) but we don't want to be a nice team to watch that doesn't win.
"We want to be scoring, as well as passing the ball well."
Ward also revealed that the U's were well prepared for the game.
"It was very thorough. We've had the few days down in the West Country to prepare and I thank the chairman for that.
"The three goals were all high quality and I'm sure our supporters will have liked them."
