Purdie Listed By Latics

Former Bulls midfielder Rob Purdie has been transfer listed by Oldham.

Purdie is one of four players to be made available for loan or permanent transfer by new boss Paul Dickov. He has never made a senior debut for the Latics after missing last season due to injury.

The 27 year old left the Bulls three seasons ago for Darlington, citing that the now Conference club had more personnel in reception than the Bulls had staff in the entire ground. He played 184 times for the Bulls over five seasons, scoring 21 times, and rejected a return to Edgar Street last summer to join the Latics and a step up into League One.

Meanwhile another ex-Bull, Marvin McCoy, has joined Wycombe on trial. The former Watford trainee signed a one month contract at the end of August 2007 but never even featured on the bench for the Bulls and was quietly disposed of without further official notice.

Another ex-Bull is staying where he is. Clint Easton, who helped the Bulls to promotion to League One before having a torrid second season, has signed up for another year at Ebbsfleet after their relegation to Conf South. Easton, 32, hasn't played since fracturing a cheekbone in February.
