All the half-time talk at Lydbrook was the touchline gossip surrounding the possible return of Bulls’ favourite Lionel Ainsworth and late this evening, the Hereford Times’ Richard Prime in his on-line article reports that Simon Davey has confirmed that negotiations are continuing.
“I’ve spoken to Huddersfield and to Lionel's representatives and we are trying to sort something out,” said the Bulls chief.
"We're not quite there yet but it is somebody we would like to bring in to the football club.
"But, like many transfers, there are a lot of complications in them and this one is complicated.
"Hopefully we can get something done but we have got another one on the go as well which we are probably 95% with, too.
"He is another wide player and so, by Monday, we should have one in.”
