The club have announced that Simon Johnson has ended his stay at Edgar Street by mutual consent.
The former Leeds trainee joined from Darlington, in the summer of 2007, initially on a short term deal. He spent last season signing a string of extensions before being one of the first to sign a 12 month deal last summer. He started just eight League matches this season, along with 21 sub appearances, without scoring a goal.
In total his Bulls record reads six goals in 72 matches - half of which were substitute appearances.
