Chadwick Departs Edgar Street

Striker Nick Chadwick has departed Edgar Street on the expiry of his short term contract, the club have confirmed.

The former Everton trainee spent three and a half months at Edgar Street, starting six games and featuring in six more as a substitute. His only goal in that time was a penalty on his debut against Scunthorpe, whilst he was red-carded at Millwall for a second bookable offence.

While his contract length was never disclosed it was always understood that Chadwick and Sam Oji were both on short term deals with the Hereford Times noting this morning that 'Nick Chadwick and Sam Oji’s short-term contracts are due to expire this month'.

Chadwick's departure means that there are now just 19 contracted players at Edgar Street, plus four loan players and non-contract keeper Jose Veiga.
