Positives outweigh the Negatives says Turner

Hereford United manager Graham Turner has been telling the Worcester News that despite the league position and current crop of injuries he wants to stay in League One.

“It is sometimes said that perhaps it is better to be higher up in one league than gain promotion and find a struggle on the cards. I totally disagree. I would still rather be where we are than be remaining in League Two,” said Turner.

Hereford United play at Huddersfield tomorrow, then have games against Tranmere, Leicester (pictured when last visited by the Bulls), and Leeds over the Festive period.

“The quality of the football at times has been very good this season and in examining the holiday fixtures, to be going to Leicester and have Leeds coming here, in league games, is far more attractive than, with respect to them, Dagenham and Redbridge or Accrington.”

Meanwhile it looks as though around 800 Hereford United supporters will make the trip to the Walkers Stadium on December 28th. At least five coaches are due to travel.
