No Agents Fees For Bulls Again

The Bulls have opted not to pay agents yet again over the course of the past season.

The Football League report on their 72 member clubs shows 18 clubs did not pay agents fees in the 2007/8 season, with 14 of them in League Two. These included the Bulls, Peterboro, and Stockport.

Transfer spending nearly doubled to £81.5million over the three divisions, but agents fees were paid on just 14% of the value of transfers. In a total of 3,399 transfer and contract deals there were just 283 that involved paying an agent.

Highest spenders were Leicester, who paid £1.6million to agents, while MK Dons were League Two's high spenders at £76,555. Darlington and Shrewsbury both spent over £30,000 on agents while the Bulls' 24 transfer and contract dealings were done for no fees. All three of the Administration clubs, Luton, Bournemouth, and Rotherham, spent money on agents with Luton's bill nearly £0.25million.

The Bulls' dealings were nine new registration/transfers, three cancelled contracts, and twelve loans.
