How to have bigger gates by Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers have decided to have bigger official attendances at their games this season even if there might be less supporters watching.

It's all down to counting all the season tickets sold in every gate.

If, for example, Rovers have sold 2,000 season tickets but only 1,000 season ticket holders turn out for a game, the club will use the 2,000 figure.

It appears that this practice has been adopted by some other clubs.
