Graham Turner rubbed shoulders with twenty or so other top managers at a Football Writer's Dinner near Birmingham last evening.
The Hereford United manager would have had an ideal opportunity to talk to the other managers about possible player transfers or loan deals.
Others at the dinner included Martin O'Neill of Aston Villa, Tony Mowbray of West Bromwich, Alex McLeish of Birmingham, and Paul Jewell now with Derby.
The Daily Mail's Neil Moxley organised the event.
"Getting 40 journalists and 20 football folk into one room can be somewhat taxing", said Moxley.
And according to Bill Howell of the Birmingham Mail the Hereford United manager hasn't changed much in twenty years.
Graham Turner of Hereford United was there....and looks every bit the same bloke on the Panini stickers in the 1980s.
