According to the season ticket and match day prices recently released by Hereford United, there are no special prices for young person/students. Yet some other League One clubs have a special price for those young supporters still in full time education and others for all young people aged 16 to 21.
At Hereford the cheapest season ticket for a young person/student aged 16 to 21 is the same as an adult which in the terraces is £260 or seated anywhere in the ground is £300.
At Cheltenham Town concessions are senior citizens over 65 and students in full time education (proof of age and full time education will be required). A student would pay £160 to watch the Robins from the terraces and could pay for that ticket in ten instalments at £17.06 per month.
At Northampton from the start of the 2008/09 season, supporters aged between 16 and 21 benefit can from a cheaper pricing structure at Sixfields thanks to the introduction of the new Young Person category. The aim of this new category is to bridge the gap between the price of a child's ticket, and a full-priced adult's ticket for school-leavers and young adults. A young person purchasing a season ticket will be able to watch the Cobblers from only £10.50 per game in the Alwyn Hargrave Stand, and depending on which part of the ground you wish to sit, this could mean a reduction of more than £100 on a season ticket for a supporter aged between 16 and 21.
The cheapest young person ticket is £260 but that includes a 10% discount in the club shop and 50% off Cobblers World.
At Yeovil a 'student' is charged the same as a senior citizen and in general pays just under £100 less than an adult season ticket. £189 for a terrace ticket is available for early-bird purchases. They can also purchase through a pay by instalments plan.
Walsall have a slightly different sysyem where juniors are classed as 'under 18 at the time of purchase'. Their cheapest quoted price is £155 for the bottom of their Floors-to-Go stand.
