Benjamin disappointed with release

Striker Trevor Benjamin is sorry to be leaving Hereford but says he has a few things lined up for next season.

"I loved my time at Hereford," Benjamin told the Hereford Times.

"I felt settled and very much at home. It's disappointing to be released but it happens in football.

"As a squad we expected the unexpected and the promotion was well deserved. We played well and beleived we could get promotion.

"I want to thank the fans who has been brilliant and the backroom staff who do a lot of work behind the scenes and don't always get enough credit."

Benjamin is about to go on holiday.
