Hereford United manager Graham Turner has done his homework about MK Dons. He watched them last week when they defeated bottom of the League Wrexham 4-1 and so should have be able to prepare his squad for the important game this evening.
"Obviously the Dons have had a good season", said Turner.
"I think we should respect them as they are a decent outfit, but there is no reason why we shouldn't go there with confidence."
Turner's words were backed by winger Simon Johnson and defender Dean Beckwith in the post-match comments to BBC Hereford and Worcester last Saturday.
"I think we will go there full of confidence. We'll go and attack them and look for the win," said Johnson.
"They (Mk Dons) are going well but I wouldn't have thought we are too far off."
Beckwith is hoping for a large crowd this evening. Two of Hereford best performances this season have been in front of large crowds - the FA Cup win at Leeds and the League win at Bradford - of over over 10,000.
"I think there is going to be ten to fifteen thousand down there. We prefer going away to the big teams, big crowds. Everyone is up for it."
Graham Turner is likely to keep with the same eleven that started against Darlington on Saturday with Gary Hooper expected to partner Steve Guinan in attack. Captain Karl Broadhurst should retain his place in the heart of the defence.
However the game has come too soon for mid-fielder Sammy Igoe who is recovering from a knock received in the game against Chester. It is hoped he will be available for the Peterborough on Saturday.
Finally a reminder that there will be live coverage of the game will be on BBC Hereford and Worcester on 94.7FM in Herefordshire with Keith Hall at the stadiummk. There will also be updates into the evening programmes on their other frequencies and on the internet.
