Grimsby have started planning for next season, releasing captain Justin Whittle and giving striker Danny North a new two year deal. 37 year old Whittle has had limited opportunities since the turn of the year while 20 year old North, a product of their youth team, is top scorer this season with ten goals.

Bournemouth's new owners are already falling apart. Marc Jackson, who spearheaded the group's bid but had no financial input to the consortium, has been frozen out by the four new owners.
