MK Dons manager Paul Ince is worried about the state of the Stockport pitch which is also used by a rubgy team known as the Sale Sharks.
"I went there a couple of weeks ago and the pitch was absolutely diabolical, which isn't going to help us as far as our normal passing goes," admitted Ince whose side plays Stockport on Saturday.
Meanwhile Ince has told Milton Keynes Today that he is hoping the fact the Hatters need to gain ground on the Bulls will play into the Dons' favour.
"They have got to come out and get the three points, which should help us. They are looking for third spot and automatic promotion and they will feel they have a good chance of beating us. But as I have said, we are playing well right now and we can finish the job off.
"But it won't be easy, Jim Gannon has got a very good team, and a young side with lots of energy.
"And we are down to our bare bones. Keith Andrews has got a swollen ankle, Sean O'Hanlon has got a broken nose and we've run our socks off in the last two games."
Finally in Matt Baker's latest Dons blog, the former Hereford United 'keeper looks forward to the weekend.
He hopes the Dons will win at Stockport 'and do my former club a favour in the process.'
