Paul Ince told the MK Dons official site that they deserved the win against the Bulls, but that they were playing against a surprising twelth man who disappointed 'The Guvnor' by giving him a lack of inches:
"I think we deserved to win tonight, it was one-way traffic from the first whistle. They're third in the table and they've hardly had a shot but we've had enough chances to win it so we're disappointed.
"We were talking about inches tonight - Lloyd put some fantastic crosses in, Wrighty had one cleared off the line and Lloyd should have scored from the chance he had. God wasn't on our side so hopefully he will be at Stockport on Saturday.
"I think we all know we're promoted but the lads want the title. As far as I'm concerned, we're the best team in this league and the lads are so hungry to finish top. We wanted to do it tonight in front of our own fans but hey, that's life."
God had no comment, but referenced Ince to a certain Mr. Earl Hickey.
