Hereford United manager Graham Turner has revealed that the Bulls played a behind doors friendly against Cardiff City earlier this week.
The intention was to give a few fringe players a game to test their fitness. The Bulls won the game 1-0.
"We are in good nick," Turner told BBC H&W.
"We played Cardiff in the reserves this week so the likes of Karl Broadhurst, Lee Collins and others have had a chance of a game against decent opposition.
"It's been a good week for us and as far as injuries are concerned there's only Sammy Igoe with a problem."
