MK Dons manager Paul Ince has said that Hereford United manager Graham Turner felt the Bulls were lucky to take a point from last night's game at the stadium mk.
"It was a case of inches and God wasn't on our side out there," he said. "We were disappointed not to win because we deserved to - it was one-way traffic from the first whistle.
"We had enough chances to put it to bed - Lloyd (Dyer) had a superb one and so did Mark (Wright).
"In the changing room it feels like we've actually lost when realistically we are promoted.
"But respect must go out to Graham (Turner) because he said to me after the game: 'We were lucky to get a point from that, we got absolutely battered'."
Meanwhile Southend assistant manager Paul Brush has been tracking on loan striker Gary Hooper. He watched him at MK Dons last night and there is a suggestion that Hooper will return to Southend if they make the play-offs.
"Gary has done very well at Hereford and has scored a lot of goals," he said.
"We also went to see him not so long ago when they played at Dagenham and it's been a good move for him.
"Gary is with them until the end of the season and we shall look at things again when we know where Hereford and ourselves will be finishing."
