Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore:
"We should have been six up and not worrying about clawing our way back.
"We certainly had enough chances and it is another game now we could have done without. It became nerve-racking for all of us but at least we are in the hat for the next round."
Tranmere's Steve Jennings:
"It was nice to get a goal against them and I am looking forward to the replay."
Hereford manager Graham Turner:
"We scored two great goals ourselves but gave two bad ones away. But it was a very good game of football and a typical FA Cup tie and I have got to give a lot of praise to my players.
"Home advantage should now give us the edge."
The Sunday Mirror has a report in which it made Ben Smith their man of the match.
"Flawless performance in midfield, plus the opener."
