Just five shots were on target at Edgar Street this afternoon but whereas Morecambe made their three count, Hereford didn't score with their two.
There were plenty of off-target shots with Hereford having 16 and Morecambe 11.
Possession was credited as 49% to Hereford and 51% to Morecambe.
Ben Smith was yellow carded for a reckless challenge.
Clint Easton received a seven for his efforts with all the other Hereford players a five or a six. For Morecambe Bentley was awarded a nine and Artell an eight.
The attendance of 3,058 with 108 from Morecambe was better than expected for a pre-Christmas Saturday. How much influence the extra ticket for season ticket holders made remains to be seen.
