Speaking after last night's thrilling encounter at Meadow Lane, Hereford United coach John Trewick told BBC Hereford and Worcester that it was another end to end encounter.
"The Bradford game springs to mind 4-2, chances at either end.
"We could have scored more tonight.
"They had a lot of possession and put us under a lot of pressure but it was a fanastic win in the end and the ideal result after Saturday's defeat at Grimsby."
Trewick praised Steve Guinan.
"Steve waited a long time for his first goal and he's got two great goals tonight.
"He's a team player who works hard and it's icing on the cake when he scores."
Trewick also spoke to the Nottingham press.
"That was a fantastic result. We scored three goals away from home and picked up three points.
"It got a bit tense and fraught as we came under pressure in the second half, but we always looked dangerous on the break.
"We had a great start to the game with two early goals but then made it hard work for ourselves.
"It was an exciting game but I would rather have had a boring second half and taken the 2-0.
"Four wins out of five on the road is a terrific record and if we can build on that at home at the weekend, we will really be in business."
Meanwhile Magpies asssistant manager John Gannon said:
"We had spoken about how dangerous Hereford were on the counter attack on numerous occasions before the game but still got caught out, which is very disappointing.
"I think we dominated the second half and peppered their goal with shots, but after finally getting back into the match we fell asleep at the back and let them score again on the break."
The result might have been different but for a disallowed first-half header from County's Adam Tann, and Gannon added: "I couldn't see what was wrong with that from the dugout but we were a long way from the incident.
"The referee made some strange decisions but you have to accept them and get on with the game."
