One of Hereford United's near neighbours Pegasus Juniors, who are based at Old School Lane, are to stage the 4th Annual National Hunt Jockeys Charity Football match on Sunday October 14th.
The game is between the 'The Northern Jockeys' and 'The Southern Jockeys' with all proceeds going to help a great cause - 'Alder Hey Children's Hospital Imagine Appeal' - this being a charity with which the jockeys are closely involved.
The game is being sponsored by Cotswold Hereford, BMW Authorised Dealers, of Roman Road, Hereford.
The majority of the top National Hunt riders have indicated their intention to attend including past and present champion jockeys John Francombe and Richard Johnson plus Graham Lee, Tony Dobbin and many others.
After the game there will be an auction of sports memorabilia signed by the personalities who have presented the items.
