Morecambe is never an easy place says Turner

Hereford United manager Graham Turner has admitted to the Hereford Times that although the club has happy memories of their last visit (Conference play-offs) to Christie Park, Morecambe is 'never an easy place to go.'

"We have been very solid going away from home and I would expect the same going to Morecambe on Saturday," said Turner.

"They have made an impressive start to life in the League, two outstanding Carling Cup victories at Preston and Wolves plus a solid league start.

"I saw them play at Chester on Friday night and they have the makings of quite a reasonable League Two side.

"They've acquired some good players over the last 18 months since we last saw them.

"The goalkeeper (Joe Lewis) was particularly impressive and one or two other players impressed me so we know we've got our work cut out but it's how we perform that's the most important thing."
