Yeovil Wait On Guyett Fitness

Yeovil are sweating on the fitness of defender Scott Guyett for tonight's Carling Cup match at Edgar Street.

With captain Terry Skiverton definitely out, the defender suffered a head injury in their match on Saturday after being punched by the opposing goalkeeper but manager Russell Slade hopes he will be fit, telling the local press: "Scott is being assessed by a doctor and we're not sure if he'll be able to play, but we're certainly hopeful. He's a tough lad."

Lee Morris is expected to replace the dangerous Marcus Stewart up front, with Slade adding: "Marcus has got a slight thigh strain and we won't take any chances with it. He will be assessed by [physiotherapist] Jim Joyce and we'll make a decision tomorrow, but at this stage he's got to be a doubt. We do have cover in that area as we've got Lee Morris, who came on on Saturday at Huddersfield, Darryl Knights and Paul Warne who can also play up front."

Marc Bircham and Gary Dempsey will definitely join Skiverton on the sidelines for the match.
