Accrington have resigned Preston striker Chris McGrail on a six month loan. The teenage striker signed for Stanley last season on loan, a move that saw the club fined for fielding an ineligible player as McGrail was an Academy player and not eligible for first team action. He signed pro forms in the summer.

Bradford's sponsor's are to pay for 250 fans to travel to Barnet for their match at Underhill. They will also pay for 250 Barnet fans to travel north for the return fixture as they also have an office near to their ground. Wycombe have rejected a £125,000 offer from Swindon for striker Jermaine Easter. A Swindon fan site claims MK Dons have offered £675,000 for the player.

Brentford are set for a welcome windfall after former defender Sam Sodje was linked with a move from Reading to Sheff Weds. The Bees are entitled to 10% over the £350,000 Reading paid them in the summer of 2006. Barnet defender Joe Devera has received a one match ban after his red card against the Bulls on Saturday.

Conference chief John Moules is facing a power battle over the league's handling of the Crawley Town problems. Tamworth chairman Robert Andrews is leading the call for change, telling the press: "I feel that this is now a very professional League but it still has an amateur administration. For instance, they settled the new sponsorship deal back in March and we've only this week been told how much cash each club gets."
