The Hereford United statisticans will be looking through the record books this evening after the Bulls scored four goal without reply in the first half against Yeovil this evening.
They will also be looking to see when a Hereford United player last scored a hatrick in the first half at Edgar Street or elsewhere. Stuart Fleetwood scored a hat-trick in the Carling Cup game against Coventry last season but one of his three goals came in the second half.
The recent 'big' wins against Dagenham, Halifax and Forest Green didn't have a either a return of as many as four goals without reply nor a hat-trick in the first half.
So when, if ever, has this been achieved by Hereford United.
Meanwhile Danny Lee's record, Hereford United, was played during half-time as a tribute to the entertainer and supporter, who death was reported yesterday.
A few clips of Lee were also shown on BBC Midlands this evening in a short Hereford United piece which also featured a large Hereford Bull and a few words from both Graham Turner and HUISA chairman Keith Dodds. Pictures of last night's liason meeting at Edgar Street were also included.
