Barry warns his team-mates about Hereford

Yeovil mid-fielder Anthony Barry has warmed his team-mates all abouit Hereford United. Barry used to play for Accrington Stanley and has battled against the Bull in the past.

"It's good to have another game so soon to get the disappointment out of our system (Yeovil lost on Saturday at Huddersfield) - so hopefully we can go to Hereford, play well and win," said Barry as reported by the Western Daily Press.

"It will be a big test but it's a game we'll be expected to win.

"I know how tough Hereford can be as I played against them in the Conference when I was with Accrington and they always make it a battle at their place.

"They got promoted through the play-offs and since then they've done well and re-established themselves in the Football League. I wish them luck this season as well, just not in the cup!"

Barry commented that Graham Turner tends to find players from higher levels to boost his chances.

"They always seem to get experienced players who drop down the divisions, players who know what the game's all about.

"That's why it will be a tough test for us, but I know we've got the quality to go there and progress to the second round.

"And if we can go through then we want to get a Premier League team in the next round, and of course the eventual aim is to get a game with one of the really big clubs.

"I think the clubs in Europe enter the Carling Cup at a later stage, but we'd love to be going to Stamford Bridge, Anfield or Old Trafford.

"Of course for me, being a Scouser, I'd love to draw Liverpool later in the competition, but first we've got to beat Hereford."
