Season Tickets - A Solution?

We have to assume that the club do want to sell season tickets as opposed to having people pay on the gate. The fact that they have offered very good prices "on the day" for the youngest sector, suggests that they have a policy to attract young supporters. Also, it has to be born in mind that revenues need to be increased not just maintained.

So, how about we make the advantage of buying a season ticket more attractive by slightly increasing the on the gate price and making the purchase of ST's available on an easy payment scheme. A second half season ticket should also be available before Christmas (presents). It also strikes me that the early purchase tickets (24 hours before) just makes extra work....either buy a season ticket or pay on the gate!

On the gate prices 08/09

Terrace/Seat
U10 £5/£6
Conc. £10/£12
Adult £14/£16

Season Ticket (includes 1st round Carling/FA Cups + final PSF)

Terrace/Seat
U10 £80/£100 {10 payments of £8.72/£10.90}
Conc. £190/£235 (£120/£150 prior to 20th June) {10 payments of £20.71/£25.62}
Adults £280/£320 (£250/£190 prior to 20th June) {10 payments of £30.52/£34.88}

Half Season Ticket valid for last 12 games £40/£95/£140 (available in Nov/Dec)

For example: - 1 adult attending 23 home games plus two first round matches would pay (@ £14) £350 on the gate. On this system, an early-bird would cost £250, a normal season ticket £280 or an easy payment total of £305.20. Easy payment schemes would have to be signed up and cleared by the finance company by 30th June.

Would need to work on Family Ticket prices and no doubt this hastily thought out scheme has overlooked something obvious but it seems to cover most of the complaints!
